The six shirts, including the one worn during the final victory over France, were sold to an anonymous bidder at Sotheby’s New York. This sets a new record for Messi memorabilia and marks the highest price paid for sports memorabilia at auction this year. The proceeds from the auction will also benefit the UNICAS Project, helping children suffering from rare diseases.
