Carlo Ancelotti has given some advice to Endrick in facing his upcoming major move to Real Madrid, “enjoy the moment,” as the 17-year-old Brazil forward visits Madrid ahead of his highly-anticipated move to the club next summer.
Endrick, who is set to join Real Madrid in July, arrived in Madrid on Friday to visit the club’s Valdebebas training ground and is expected to attend their match against Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday.
“He’s progressing very well. We’re thrilled that he’ll be our player from July,” Ancelotti said in a news conference on Saturday.
Endrick, who was a key part of Palmeiras’ victory in Brazil’s Serie A earlier in December, has already made a significant mark in the football world, with 11 league goals in 31 appearances for the season.
Madrid confirmed the deal to sign Endrick in December 2022, but have to wait until he turns 18 in July 2024 before officially bringing him in.
Despite his young age, Endrick has also made his debut with the Brazil senior team in World Cup qualifiers last month, showcasing his potential to be a game-changer for Real Madrid next season.
