Real Madrid prospect Arda Guler’s debut delayed until close to Christmas due to new injury setback
Real Madrid’s Arda Guler’s string of injuries is concerning as he continues to struggle to make his debut after his transfer from Fenerbahce. His persistent fitness issues are worrying and it’s disappointing for both him and the club. Hopefully, he can recover soon and finally make his mark on the pitch.
Real Madrid’s young player, Arda Guler, is currently undergoing rehabilitation in the gym to recover from his injury. However, it has been revealed that his injury is more severe than initially stated by Carlo Ancelotti. The coach had originally claimed that Guler would miss their upcoming match against Valencia due to a non-serious issue. But according to reports from Diario AS and other sources, Guler’s latest thigh problem will keep him out of action for at least a month.
Guler, who was signed for €25m from Fenerbahce over the summer, has yet to make his debut for Real Madrid. Despite receiving praise from Ancelotti and teammates in training, he has been sidelined by three successive injuries. It seems that he has encountered another setback after being included in the squad for the last two matches.
Initially, Guler had attempted to avoid surgery for a meniscus problem, which was detected in July. However, he eventually underwent surgery a month later. Upon his return in October, he suffered another muscle problem, which prolonged his absence. Despite being placed on a special fitness program by the Real Madrid staff, Guler has suffered another setback.
As a result of his current injury, Guler will miss at least five matches, including those against Valencia, Cadiz, Napoli, Granada, and Real Betis. It is likely that Real Madrid will gradually reintroduce him to the lineup, possibly allowing him to make his debut in matches against Union Berlin, Villarreal, or Alaves before the Christmas break in La Liga.
